The Lord is good to those who love
rewarding them with favor
for all His spiritual blessings bring
a life to richly savor

God’s plan is written in His book
it’s there for men to use
through applying godly principles
a better life we choose

for there are no short cuts in life
when we claim to have arrived
because man is always learning
to develop what’s inside

as the Holy Spirit cleanses
and roots out unclean ways
repentance and confession makes
a life of better days

Jesus is our lifetime teacher
instructing man in love
always watching over His church
advancing it thereof

as a person accepts the Lord
and starts his life anew
the road of life is paved with love
agape love for you

I would rather be blessed by God
walking in perfect grace
then out there in the world alone
not going any place
